The Regional Care Coordination Agency (RCCA) is accepting applications for Public Awareness Campaigns on Substance Use and Supports (PACSS). Up to four organizations may receive awards to develop and implement education campaigns that should aim to prevent or delay initial substance use, reduce, prevent, or delay the misuse of substances, minimize stigma associated with substance use disorder (SUD), treatment, and recovery, and/or reduce harms associated with substance use and misuse, including overdose. Non-profit, for-profit, and tax-exempt organizations throughout Illinois, particularly in areas disproportionately affected by the opioid crisis, are encouraged to apply. A total of $9,000,000 is available to be awarded over a period of 3 years to a minimum of 4 organizations. Applicants may apply for up to $3,000,000 per period of performance. The initial period of performance spans 7/1/24-6/30/25.
